When I think of Christmas colors,
I think of red,
green,
gold,
pink,
(yes, pink, I have a bad habit of putting my girls in pink jammies...
makes scrappin' those pages challenging! LOL)
but not aqua or teal...
and those are two colors that are popping up in Christmas kits everywhere this year!
And, apparently, for me, that's a good thing! LOL
I really need to get better about coordinating my kids' outfits!
And,
big shocker,
it's a 5x7!
This is a snapshot of my oldest DS,
resisting a hug from his big sister!
And, of course,
the colors are off... LOL!
But,
Courtney's Digiscrappin'
came to the rescue with the perfect kit
Deckin' the Halls
available at Scrap Art Studio!

Yes,
the previous post was about
Halloween...
and now we are
jumping way ahead...
to Christmas!
But, honestly, it's not that far away...
less than two month!

And,
well,
I usually take on the
insane challenge
of making all our Christmas cards
(and gifts,
and tags,
and party favors,
and...)
But, Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog
is helping me out this week
(and any of you other insane,
I mean, totally normal, crafters out there).

Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog is hosting a
Think Pink Christmas Challenge.
Create a Christmas card, using the color pink!
there are several layers on this card...
but it went together fairly quick...
lots of punches used!
Everything is Stampin' Up!
But you all know me,
and I have no idea of the names of any of them,
except Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Whisper White paper...
I hope you all enjoy,
feel inspired to get in the Christmas spirit
and play along!

Happy Paper Play!

Wow!
Have we been insanely busy or what???
It seems the last few weeks have just flown by,
and, honestly, I can't tell you what we have been doing! LOL!

I did actually manage to get a page scrapped - of course, it has been in the making for about 2 weeks now,
in some stage of completion on the laptop!

I have recently stumbled on this page on FB - The Art Journaler.
They have fabulous prompts, and when I saw the prompt,
"If I could tell her anything..."
I knew exactly what I wanted to do...
a companion page of this page of EM.
It goes along with the SAS Color Challenge Friday

Ok, so I know it's really Sunday... but I am a little behind the power curve!
In case you missed my post here,
SAS opened on Aug 1!
(and I am a SASsy Girl)!
There are weekly challenges on the SAS Blog - here...
and the Friday Challenge is ...
a color challenge!

This Friday's challenge was to use the color purple,
and if you are feeling a little adventurous, throw in some orange!
Purple is not a "go to" color in anyone in the family's wardrobe...
which makes it hard for me to scrap with - I always try to coordinate the pictures with the page
(I guess you could say I have color issues! LOL!)!
This is another K picture - she is really becoming quiet the shutterbug!
And, EM was wearing purple... so that was my jumping off point!
The funny thing though, orange doesn't show up much in this page, but,
my alibi (as hubby would say) is that yellow and red make orange,
and there is a lot of red and yellow with the purple!
I used Angie Young's FYA Serenity bundle to complete this page -
which other than finding the quote (love pinterest!) came together very quickly!
You can find the Serenity bundle at Digitals or at Scrap Art Studio.
