I'm back again ...
and this time with more art journaling
and a possible prompt for you...
if you have joined me on this art journaling adventure, you will like this...
and if you haven't, them this is a great place to start!

10 Guaranteed Smile Makers!
I am not sure where I got this journal prompt from,
but it has been one that has caused me to really look at "things".
The original prompt was "10 Things That Make You Happy",
but as I started making my list, I realized that they weren't things, but moments/memories.
Then I was hit with the phrase... Happiness isn't a destination, but a journey!
With that phrase running through my mind,
I started working on these pages...
My original plan for these pages had been to use a picture for each smile and spread all ten of them around the two page spread, but when I started playing with the kit, well, the glass elements just spoke to me and I couldn't get "bullet points" out of my brain...
which is how this layout was born!
I guess, not only is happiness a journey, but so is art journaling! Ha ha!
This is a list that will need to be revisited and revamped I think...
the things that I think are cute now may be very annoying in a few months
and sometimes it's nice to be reminded of where we were and where we have come!
Also, something else I have been working on and paying more attention to is how a two page spread ties together. In the world of traditional scrapbooking, the pages are laid out side by side and it is easy to see how they relate together and tie into each other.
With art journal pages, the elements sometimes bleed from one page to another... making that look intentional was a challenge... but I am enjoying that challenge too!
For these two pages, I used Angie Young's Come On Get Happy kit available at Digitals.
